Job Summary: Assigned to a regional K-12 caseload, this position, under the direction of the Director(s) of Student Services or designee, provides support to students and families in social-emotional or mental health needs. Duties are performed at multiple schools throughout the district. Salary: Salary is based upon the current ESP Salary Schedule Salary (Level III); placement on the salary schedule will be determined by Human Resources DOE. FLSA Non-Exempt.
Education and Experience:
Minimum three (3) years of experience providing case management and therapeutic services to children and adolescents. Master’s degree in behavior science or related field from an accredited college or university. Completion of supervised postgraduate experience leading to full licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience providing mental health services in a school based setting, including BIPOC and LGBTQ populations.
- Knowledge and skills in treating children and adolescents with mental health disorders including depressive disorders, eating disorders, conduct disorders and ADD/ADHD.
Licenses/Special Requirements:
- Washington State License as a Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family
- Valid Washington State driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
Work Year: Days of the week and hours may vary. Benefits: Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package, for eligible positions. Generally, you are eligible for SEBB benefits if you are anticipated to work at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 through August 31).
