Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Food Service and the cook manager, assists the cook manager in kitchen operation; makes a "School Meal Pattern" lunch available to every school child; assists in preparing and serving of nutritious food as required by participation in the federal program; provides sanitary working conditions. 

 

Salary: $18.25 per hour. Salary is based on 2023-24 Non-Represented Salary Schedule.

 

Work Year: Hours and days vary (Generally, 2-3 hours per day, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.)

 

Benefits: Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package, for eligible positions.  Generally, you are eligible for SEBB benefits if you are anticipated to work at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 through August 31).
