Job Summary: This position assists the Supervisor of Nursing Services in carrying out the district's health program by implementing a comprehensive health services program at a specific school(s).  The role of the School Nurse is to provide for the general health and well-being of the student population and school community.  The Float Nurse duties are to assist schools by filling in at a Health Room or by providing 1:1 nursing care to students within the Northshore School District.

Salary
Salary is based upon the current 2023-24 ESP Salary Schedule Salary (Level III); placement on the salary schedule will be determined by Human Resources DOE. FLSA Non-Exempt.


Work Year: Days of the week and hours may vary.

Benefits: Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package, for eligible positions. Generally, you are eligible for SEBB benefits if you are anticipated to work at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 through August 31).
