Job Summary: This position will perform a variety of technical support tasks at the Northshore Performing Arts Center or high school theaters.  Under the direction of the Technical Director, the Theater Technician will set up and operate technical systems for theater events, including lighting and sound systems, mechanical rigging, symphony and orchestra pit controls, stage scenery and effects, portable stages and related controls; and will perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Salary: $27.50 per hour. Salary is based on 2023-24 Non-Represented Salary Schedule

 

Work Year: Hours and days vary.

 

Benefits: Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package, for eligible positions.  Generally, you are eligible for SEBB benefits if you are anticipated to work at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 through August 31).
